The following photographs of Jean were taken in Montreal's Mount Royal Park between 1993 and 1994. Following the crash, Jean spent an increasing amount of time seeking the solace and serenity only nature can offer. His remarkable ability to communicate with birds, squirrels and other wild life impressed many a photographer, professional and amateur alike. The first two pictures appeared on magazine covers and a number of others are stored within Montreal's (city) archives.
